Lage Lund's Solo on Stablemates

This solo comes from Will Vinson's Live at Smalls. This date includes Aaron Parks on piano, bassist Matt Brewer, and Marcus Gilmore on drums. This is a great solo; Lage plays comfortably at the fast tempo. He plays fairly in while keeping the ideas pretty modern. His triadic approach can be heard more easily when he plays chords but you can still hear it in his single lines. It is definitely worth studying it! 

I am a bigger fan of guitar solos without a piano comping, I feel it restricts some of the ideas. I will post some pianoless solos soon.
